Denise Clivaz and Elizabeth Roberts teach K-8 French at The Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Together they share 24 years of world language teaching experience. Through their collaboration, they have created the unique REAL LANGUAGE right away curriculum.
Denise Clivaz
Denise studied French in Switzerland and taught English there for several years. She returns to Switzerland each summer to spend time with her family. She enjoys trains, hiking in the mountains, and a good espresso.
Elizabeth Roberts
Elizabeth spent several years working and studying in France. She recently received a Master's Degree in French Language and Civilization from New York University in Paris. She has a passion for phonetics, photography, and all things French.
